When will I hear back?
If your application is successful, you will hear from the local team in a few weeks. Due to the number of applications we receive, this process may take longer. If you don’t hear from us, your application has been unsuccessful this time, but please resubmit when you have new material!
HOW DO YOU SELECT WHO PLAYS?
We work hard to specially curate each session’s lineup. Our diverse and knowledgeable team listens through all submitted music to find new featured artists, ensuring that there is no bias amongst submissions. This helps us find the best new original music and stories possible!
WHAT KIND OF SETUP WILL I NEED?
Our sessions feature strictly original stripped-down acoustic music. While this does not necessarily mean “unplugged”, we ask that you do not bring amplifiers nor use any pre-recorded backing tracks. Microphones & DI boxes will be provided for all vocal and instrumental needs. We recommend using acoustic instruments & minimal backline. If you have any questions, please contact us here. Do I need to bring an audience?
Yes, even though Fresh Brewed Sessions™ has its own following, we require each featured artist to guarantee 5 ticket sales. Accepted artists must purchase 5 tickets in advance (at discount) to be held at will-call for their guests. We encourage artists to promote & create awareness of their session– aiding in the growth of our amazing Fresh Brewed Sessions™ artist & listener Community.
Will I get paid or compensated?
We want you to walk away with something valuable.
Fresh Brewed Sessions™ compensates its featured artists in photography, video & audio services. Our package includes professional photo coverage of your performance & one song professionally recorded, filmed and mixed. These services are valued at high cost and provided at each sessions free of charge to the artist (assuming the guarantee draw is met.)
What happens at a Fresh Brewed Session?
Fresh Brewed Sessions™ is a unique storytelling concert series held in an intimate venue, such as a Cafe or Brewery. It typically features three talented artists each playing 45 minutes of strictly original acoustic music. We request that guests arrive on time for the first act and stay through the entirety of the show. Each lineup is carefully curated to give audiences a diverse show, and artists equal attention. Out of respect, we kindly ask that guests refrain from talking or texting during artists’ performances
