Ava Heatley – Featured Artist

I was in a songwriting program in college and it was the first time I had met young singer-songwriters like me. Every week we would have a class where we got together and shared the new music we were working on and it was so cool to discover some of my favorite songs from people I consider my best friends. I met up with some of my friends from college recently and we shared new stuff we were working on just like we did in school and I wrote this song "Beautiful/Terrifying" the next day. I was thinking about what it was like to first be introduced to this community of people and how the thing we have all chosen to do makes our daily lives beautiful and terrifying. And then this song was born.
